What's new in NomadTracks
Every release since the first one, newest first, and what we are working on next. NomadTracks started on iPhone and iPad; the Android app followed in July 2026, and since 1.24 both share version numbers and ship together.

- NomadTracks Cloud. Sync your library between iPhone, iPad and Android through NomadTracks, and open it in the browser at nomadtracks.app: tracks, POIs and custom maps, plus route planning with an elevation profile.
- Teams. Shared folders for a group, with invitations.
- Direction arrows on tracks. See which way a track was recorded, in a colour you pick.
- POI pins stack on Apple Maps instead of hiding each other when you zoom out.
- Faster bulk delete on Android.
Reliability
- iPhone: stronger protection of your library when the app starts.
- Android: large map files import without running out of memory.
- Android: Google Drive no longer asks you to reconnect after a short network problem.
- Android: very long recordings no longer stop the library from opening.
- More reliable recording when the GPS signal is weak, for example under trees.
